About Pho Day

"Pho Day" is a term that seems to reference a day or event dedicated to celebrating the Vietnamese dish called "PHO" and Vietnamese cuisine in general. "Pho" is a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup that is typically made with a flavorful broth, rice noodles, herbs, and meat (usually beef or chicken). It's a beloved and iconic dish in Vietnamese cuisine and has gained popularity worldwide due to its rich and complex flavors.

The popularity of pho has led to various events or initiatives that aim to promote and celebrate this dish, as well as Vietnamese cuisine as a whole. "Pho Day" could be a specific day designated to honor and enjoy pho, similar to how other cultural foods have their dedicated days.

I got the BBH and the Pork vermicelli. My wife got the chicken pho. I also even had a ice vietnamese coffee. Long story short, it's bomb. Service was quick and place was well kept. I had a great experience and I'd come back again.

The mini Vietnamese pancake is great, the grilled pork sandwiche is great, garlic butter chicken wings also great. Pho soup base lacks a bit of flavor. Service is decent, the restaurant appears clean appears.

Tried Phoday recently and honestly left pretty disappointed. We ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls, steak pho, and the Korean BBQ-style rice plate ($16.75). The biggest letdown by far was the rice plate. For that price, I expected a decent portion and qualityβ€”but instead, I got 4 tiny pieces of beef short ribs that were almost entirely fat with barely any actual meat. It honestly felt more like eating pork belly than short ribs. It just felt like a total rip-off for what you get. I wouldn’t recommend ordering that dish at all. The rest of the food was okay, but nothing that would make me want to come back, especially considering the price point.

Love the halal beef pho - the broth was super delicious! Also ordered chicken bahn mi, beef bahn mi (my fav), veggie egg rolls, shrimp spring rolls, and chicken fried rice (kinda dry). Overall good food. Will definitely go back especially because they have a Halal food section!

Not the best Vietnamese food experience. The spring rolls and their sauce was actually good (hence my he 2 star). But that’s where the good ended. The service was not great, you could tell that there was no manager on duty. We had to constantly flag the waiter for any ask. Pho was brought to us by someone else and they forgot the silverware. So we had to flag someone to get those for us. Then the Pho itself was tasteless. Broth, still stuck together rice noodles, onion and some beef (I ordered the tendons and that’s what I got, that’s on me). The other party ordered the shrimp and to our surprise the shrimp came tail on in a hot broth plate. We were unable to finish our food so we just left.
